WASHINGTON 鈥 In the case of Garza v. Hargan, today the U.S. government announced it is releasing Jane Roe on her own recognizance.

The following statement is from Brigitte Amiri, senior staff attorney with the 桃子视频Reproductive Freedom Project:

鈥淲e are pleased that these two young women are able to finally get the care they need. But the government鈥檚 policy is still in place. These two cases show how the government continues to abuse its power by denying abortion access. The 桃子视频will keep fighting until this dystopian policy is struck down, and we have justice for every Jane.鈥欌

Yesterday, a federal judge granted the 桃子视频鈥檚 request for a temporary restraining order to prevent the Trump administration from blocking two young immigrant women from obtaining abortions. The stay was lifted for Jane Poe, one of the women, allowing her to proceed with her abortion care.
